WHAT’S NEEM OIL?

Neem oil is a naturally occurring insecticide that is found in the seeds of the Indian neem tree. The best part is that it only kills bugs that eat plants, so it won’t harm beneficial insects!

WHAT KIND OF BUGS DOES NEEM OIL KILL?

– Spider mites – Whiteflies – Houseplant scale – Aphids – Fungus gnats – Thrips – Mealybugs – And more!

Mix your insecticide

Mix 1 1/2 teaspoons neem oil concentrate with 1 teaspoon mild liquid soap and 1 liter tepid water.

Prepare your spray bottle

Put all of the ingredients into a spray bottle and shake it up well.

Test your insecticide

Test it on a leaf or two before using it on the whole plant to make sure there’s no damage.

Douse your plants

Douse the plant with your neem oil spray, getting both the top and bottom of the leaves and every nook and cranny.

Let dry

Keep the plant out of direct sunlight until the leaves are dry.

Reapply as needed

Continue to use it every few weeks until you no longer see any signs of the bugs.
